From residual fabric and thread, these Folded Nuances are created. The new fabric, Nuance, was developed through a long and extensive process. This work does not start with an idea and then determine which materials will bring it to life. Instead, one begins with the materials, allowing them to inspire ideas about what they can shape.

The 12 colors are crafted using an innovative technique, where the act of drawing is translated into a new textile technique based on the capabilities and limitations of a sewing machine. By intentionally using three threads, I create a nuanced color palette, where subtle interplay between colors add depth and character to the textile.
